food for your thought, penance for your soul

Faysal is the name , Non reactively battered by racial taunts is never my game. Of late, Racial bigots of the majority race have emerged openly and 'Blogging' is the medium to their bigotry expressions. Thank God they've paid the consequences for their senseless intentions. I can't really fathom the mindsets of such individuals, to the extent of mocking God almighty 'Allah' S.A.W is rather.. reallie too much.
Honestly, I don't blame anyone whose opinion towards the Malay community is as such. I laughed at the joke that goes by, " Malays are so islamicly inclined that they wouldn't slurp alcohol beverages yet they can take drugs." The Malay community and drugs are synonymously an entity that seperating them would not supplement the identity of Malays as a whole. Caught ya ..hehehe.

haha very smart satirical take on tha malay & drug thingy. well, points for intellectual humour so big ups bwoy.
as for me, i've always made it a point to reserve my comments when it comes to malay-related issues lest being perceived as an infidel of sorts. my only hope is that our generation will come forth with front runners unlike our parents and those before us who seem mollycoddled by tha working class syndrome. we can never move forward by being the working class. in order to extend latitude to the community as a whole, everyone of us should not merely be satisfied to be accoladed with a paycheck every month. we need to be tha prime movers and shakers..learn to speak tha universal language of breaking down barriers to entry...tha dollar bill. & I'm not just sayin earnin it...we gots to amass it for real! (Like hello, how far can minority shareholder rights take you?)
without going tha distance & in gist, I just think that before we breed new generations of young malay women with tha ubiquitous narrowly-tattoed eyebrow (perhaps tha width of which is reflective of tha depths of their shallow minds? *bite me*) & denizens of young bored malay men who seem to adopt tha void deck as their natural habitat, I think we desperately need to be inspired & I definitely don't mean something like having one of us win tha Singapore Idol, though I must add that I'm not undermining that is definitely a feat in itself.
maybe it's just me...maybe I myself need to be inspired! But we can't lie to ourselves can we? Can we honestly say that we can think of any singular inspirational Malay leader/businessman-woman/etc. who we can identify as a personification of intellect and success? I definitely can't think of any off tha top of my head. Tha only that comes to mind is DR M and he is not even one of us.
So I rest my case. I wish to be INSPIRED. But I am NOT a DREAMER. So hopefully in my own lil humble ways, I can contribute to tha movement...so that one day, one of us will rise above and spearhead tha ascend from tha limbo of tha working class.
This is not some half-assed awakening. This is a wake-up call. Kid ourselves not, we desperately need to...
